Anions of low Lewis basicity for ionic solid state electrolytes

Methods for the estimation of Lewis basicity of anions, especially of those showing low and very low donor properties are reported. These properties are of importance for technical applications, for example, when applying them as conducting salts for batteries or in catalytic systems both of which are shortly reviewed.
