Three chiral nitrobenzaldehyde/Schiff base ligands (2a-c) were prepared by the reaction of ortho, meta, and para-NO2 substituted benzaldehydes (1a-c) with (1R,2R)-(-)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane. The structures of ligands 2a-c were characterized by IR, H-1-NMR, C-13-NMR and elemental analysis.
