The charge transfer complex of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) and tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) was prepared and characterized by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectrometer. The results demonstrated that MWNTs could act as electron acceptors in the formation of charge transfer complex.
