A complex investigation of the structural, electrical, and magnetic properties of cobalt-intercalated titanium diselenide and ditelluride compounds at different intercalant concentrations and temperatures is performed for the first time. The influence of the matrix on the physical characteristics of the intercalation materials is analyzed. (C) 2003 MAIK Nauka/Interperiodica.
