An experiment was carried out under greenhouse conditions in Lavras, MG, aiming at evaluating the evaporative demand of the air (ET), estimated by of Class A pan and modified atmometer of Soilcontrol model JR 120 the methods, using the Penman-Monteith methodology. The results show that the methods of the Class A pan and the modified atmometer showed a good correlation with the method of Penman-Monteith for diary periods, showing r values of 0.94 and 0.97, respectively, and yet the two types of evaporimeters presented higher values of ET0 on the average when compared to Penman-Monteith method.
