A series of V-modified CuO-ZnO-ZrO2/HZSM-5 catalysts for direct synthesis of dimethyl ether (DME) from CO2 hydrogenation were prepared by an oxalate co-precipitation method. The catalysts were also characterized by XRD, BET, H-2-TPR, N2O chemisorption, NH3-TPD, and XPS techniques. The results show that the catalytic performances of the catalysts are strongly dependent on the content of V added in the preparation. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
