Nanopowder zinc titanate in aqueous medium proved to be an expeditious catalyst for the synthesis of a wide range of propargylamines via C-H bond activation. The catalyst could be recovered and reused several times with no appreciable decrease in the yield of the reaction under the same conditions. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
