Electrochemical and chemical doping of double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNT) and peapods, C-60@SWCNT was monitored by in situ Raman spectroelectrochemistry. Chemical doping was carried out by gaseous Kor F-2. The outer tube in DWCNT is more sensitive to doping. The peapods exhibit characteristic and complex feedback to chemical or electrochemical doping.
