Thermo-mechanically fabricated equi-atomic B2-type CoZr intermetallic compound exhibited a recrystallized microstructure containing C15-type Co2Zr Laves phase dispersions. CoZr tensile-deformed at room temperature showed tensile elongations of similar to7.5% accompanied with a transgranular ductile fracture mode mixed with an intergranular fracture mode.
