Erysiphe aquilegiae (Erysiphaceae) is found for the first time on Catharanthus roseus, in the Apocynaceae. This fungus is previously known only on the Ranunculaceae. A detailed description of this teleomorphic Australian specimen is given, along with its rDNA internal transcribed spacer sequence.
