In InCl3-NaBH4-MeCN system, vinylindiums generated by hydroindation of aryl terminal alkynes can undergo cross-coupling reaction with diaryliodonium salts high regio- and stereo selectively. But under the same conditions, the aliphatic terminal alkynes do not react very well. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
