New extended rational expansion method and exact solutions of Boussinesq equation and Jimbo-Miwa equations

By means of an extended rational expansion method and symbolic computation, we consider the exact solutions of Boussinesq equation and Jimbo-Miwa equations. As a result, we can construct many new exact solutions. The solutions obtained here include the soliton wave solutions, periodic wave solutions. (c) 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
