Two new briarane-type diterpenoids, fragilides H (1) and 1 (2), along with a known metabolite, (+)-11 beta,20 beta-epoxyjunceellolide D (3), were isolated from the sea whip gorgonian coral Junceella fragilis. The structures of briaranes 1-3 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and by comparison with the spectral data from other known metabolites featuring a briarane carbon skeleton.
