Diagnoses, descriptions, and illustrations are presented for two new Brazilian species of Microlicia from the Cadeia do Espinhaco (M. karinae and M. nodotricha). Diagnostic characters, a distribution map, citation of representative specimens, comparisons with probable relatives, and a conservation assessment are provided for each species. Both species appear to be rare and little collected.
