The purpose of this paper is to analyze the evolution of Technological Forecasting and Social Change journal for a period between 1970 and 2018 for 4248 articles. The growing scope and diversity of the field creates fragmentation and the belief that reviews could contribute to synthesis and integration. This analysis includes key factors impacting growth of a journal such as publication evolution and citation structure, most cited articles, leading authors, institutions and countries, related journals and ranking, key research streams in the journal, and co-citation analysis.
