Complex RNA-DNA hybrid nanoshapes from iterative mix-and-match screening

Summary: Hybrid nucleic acid nanostructures were developed with multiple RNA modules and suitable DNA connectors using mix-and-match screening approach, leading to the assembly of stable nanoshapes. The resulting complex multicomponent RNA-DNA hybrid nanoshapes were characterized by atomic force microscopy imaging, demonstrating the proof of concept for modular design and assembly of nanostructures at sub-10 nm scale.
