Ultrasensitive and Selective Electrochemical Detection of Dopamine Based on CuO/PVA Nanocomposite-Modified GC Electrode

A. Mohamed Azharudeen et al.

Summary: The determination of dopamine is crucial for human health. Copper oxide nanoparticles modified with polyvinyl alcohol were used to detect dopamine, showing better electrocatalytic activity compared to glassy carbon electrodes. The dopamine biosensor constructed using the copper oxide-PVA nanocomposites exhibited outstanding selectivity, stability, sensitivity, and low detection limit, while being inexpensive and offering rapid detection.
