Field sources for Simpson-Visser spacetimes

Kirill A. Bronnikov et al.

Summary: Simpson-Visser (SV) spacetimes are the simplest modifications of black hole solutions in general relativity, connecting black holes and traversable wormholes. This study shows that any static, spherically symmetric SV metric can be obtained as a solution to the Einstein field equations with a combination of a scalar field and a magnetic field. The specific forms of the metrics are presented for Schwarzschild-like and Reissner-Nordsrom-like cases.

Gravitational analog of the canonical acoustic black hole in Einstein-scalar-Gauss-Bonnet theory

Pedro Canate et al.

Summary: In this study, a curved spacetime analogous to the canonical acoustic black hole is constructed within a three-parameter model for the coupling of a scalar field with gravity. The model shows significant physical relevance in the case where a scalar field is well defined throughout a certain region in spacetime.

A novel family of rotating black hole mimickers

Jacopo Mazza et al.

Summary: With the recent introduction of gravitational wave astronomy, discussion about black hole mimickers has shifted from theoretical to phenomenological. In the absence of a definitive quantum gravity theory, the appeal of using simple metageometries to describe alternative phenomenologically viable scenarios is significant. The metric proposed by Simpson and Visser provides an example of such meta-geometry, allowing for the description of different non-rotating black hole mimickers for varying values of a single parameter.

Inflationary cosmology- A new approach using Non-linear electrodynamics

Payel Sarkar et al.

Summary: The study explores a new kind of NLED field as a source of gravity for accelerating the Universe during the inflationary era. By investigating the parameters alpha and beta, the model predicts the conditions for Universe acceleration and provides insight into the necessary magnetic field intensity for triggering inflation. Numerical results and predictions are consistent with experimental observations, indicating the viability of the proposed model.

Charged black-bounce spacetimes

Edgardo Franzin et al.

Summary: The recent development of rotating black-bounce-Kerr spacetimes has sparked interest in exploring black-bounce variants of the entire Kerr-Newman family. Specifically focusing on black-bounce-Reissner-Nordstrom and black-bounce-Kerr-Newman spacetimes, researchers have considered their deviation from the Kerr-Newman family in a controlled manner, discussing the existence of Killing tensor and the theoretical impact of non-zero electric charge on astrophysical black holes. Additionally, they have examined the interesting matter/energy content required by the black-bounce-Kerr-Newman solution within the framework of general relativity.
