4-Nitrophenol and 3-methylpyridine form a 1:1 hydrogen-bonded dimer, C6H5NO3. C6H7N, with the molecules linked by an O-H ... N hydrogen bond [O ... N 2.668 (2) Angstrom]. The dihedral. angle between the phenyl and pyridine ring is 57.8 (4)degrees. The dimers pack in a herring-bone structure in the crystal lattice.
