Gluon and quark distributions in large Nc QCD:: theory versus phenomenology

We present the QCD analysis of the behavior of quark and gluon distributions in the limit of a large number of colors N-c. We show that the results agree qualitatively with the phenomenological data, In particular we draw attention to the fact that the polarized gluon distribution is suppressed at large N-c compared to the unpolarized one.
