The aim of this paper is to introduce several types of fuzzy connectedness in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces defined by Coker (1997). This construction is based on the idea of intuitionistic fuzzy set developed by Atanassov (1983, 1986; Atanassov and Stoeva, 1983). We also investigate some interrelations between these types of fuzzy connectedness together with the preservation properties under fuzzy continuous functions. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
