In this paper the results of bulk magnetic susceptibility measurements and Sn-119 Mossbauer spectroscopy measurements of LaAuSn, CeAuSn and PrAuSn intermetallic compounds are presented. New phase transitions in CeAuSn and PrAuSn compounds have been found by both methods employed. Structural and electronic properties are discussed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
