Fermilab is developing II T superconducting dipole magnets for future accelerators based on Nb3Sn conductor. Multifilamentary Nb3Sn strands l mm in diameter produced with the Modified Jelly Roll and Powder-in-Tube technologies were purchased from OST and SMI respectively. They are herein fully characterized by I-c, n-value, residual resistivity ratio, and magnetization, Results of heat treatment optimization studies are also presented for the OST strand.
