We prepared 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) functionalised with hydroxyl, hexyloxymethyl and dodecyloxymethyl groups. These monomers were polymerised and examined on account of their stability using cyclic voltammetry. Obtained polymers are stable in the range of potentials 0 - 1.8 V. PEDOT functionalised with a dodecyloxymethyl group was soluble in chloroform and benzene.
