Long-range C-13-H-1 coupling constants ((3)JC-H) Of monensin sodium in CDCl3 and in CD3OD were measured by gs-J-HMBC experiments. The (3)J(C-H) Of monensin sodium was almost the same both in CDCl3 and in CD3OD. The obtained (3)J(C-H) suggested a small difference in the conformation in solvents from that in crystals.
