Seventeen olive mill wastewater (OMW) samples were characterized, For characterization of the samples, amount of total, fixed, volatile, suspended solids, COD, oil-grease polyphenol. volatile phenol, nitrogen and reducing sugar were determined. Effects of lime treatment Un the waste samples were investigated.
