Synthesis and surface activity of alkyl oxyethylenated propane sulfonates

The alkyl oxyethyelenated propane sulfonates were synthesized, their structures were verified by element analysis and H-1 NMR. The surface tension, critical micelle concentration, Krafft point and molecular mean minimum area of the surfactants aqueous solutions were obtained, and some characteristics of the novel surfactant were acquired.
