Factors affecting the lamellar spacing in two-phase TiAl alloys with fully lamellar microstructures were investigated by means of OM and TEM. It is shown that the lamellar spacing depends on Al content as well as cooling rate. The lamellar spacing is inversely proportional to cooling rate and increases with the increase of Al content.
