Polymerization behaviors of p-quinonoid intermediates generated from p-xylene derivatives, paracyclophanes, spiro compounds, ammonium and sulfonium salts, of isolable p-quinonoid monomers as crystals, including p-quinodimethanes, p-quinone methides, p-quinone diimines, p-quinone methide imines, p-quinones and aromatic bisketenes, and of o- and m-quinonoid monomers were reviewed by taking into account more recent research works.
