Regio- and stereoselective synthesis of fluoroalkadienes using β-fluoroalkenyliodonium salt

(E,E)-delta -Fluoro-alpha,beta,gamma,delta -unsaturated carbonyl compounds and (3E)-4-fluoro-1,3-dienes were stereoselectively synthesized by the palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction of (2-fluoroalkenyl)(p-tolyl)iodonium fluorides with alpha,beta -unsaturated carbonyl compounds and tributylvinyltin, respectively.
