A bioactivity-directed fractionation or the ethanolic extracts of Robinia pseudoacacia L. (Fabaceae) afforded robinlin (1), a novel homo-monoterpene. The structure of 1was elucidated by spectral analyses of the parent compound as well as its derivatives: 1 showed strong bioactivity in the brine shrimp lethality test (BST).
