Experimental and theoretical investigations into the mechanisms of vibration stimulation of water-cutting oil deposits by high-power surface sources indicate the onset of resonance oscillations in the block strata. These oscillations induced by very weak actions create conditions for generation of ultrasonic waves capable of destructing jellied oil films in the joints of reservoir, from which the important technological applications can be derived for increasing oil recovery.
