The pressure effect on thermal stability against eutectic crystallization in an Al84Ni10Ce6 and an Al82.5Ni5Y8Co2Zr2.5 metallic glasses was investigated in a pressure range up to 1.3 GPa. It was found that the applied pressure enhances the eutectic crystallization temperature for both glasses. (C) 2001 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
