Lithium ion conducting polymers containing trifluoromethylsulfonamide anions and oligoether side chains bound to a polysiloxane backbone exhibit a room-temperature Li+ conductivity of 1.2 x 10(-6) S cm(-1) and a T-g of -67 degreesC. Apparently, the flexible comb polymer architecture results in a high concentration of charge carriers and good ionic conductivity.
