An efficient microwave-assisted epoxidation of olefins is described over hydrotalcite catalysts in the presence of hydrogen peroxide and acetonitrile. This general and selective protocol is extremely fast and is applicable to wide variety of substrates. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
