Long-term outcomes on quality-of-life and health care costs in patients with supraventricular tachycardia (Radiofrequency catheter ablation versus medical therapy)

Radiofrequency catheter ablation is associated with a sustained improvement in health-related quality of life when compared with medical therapy in patients with supraventricular tachycardia. Although the overall cost of ablation remained higher after 5 years, the absolute difference was small.
