Using the Banach fixed point theorem, we obtain a sufficient condition for the existence of almost periodic solution of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks dx(ij)/dt = -a(ij)x(ij) - Sigma(Cklis an element ofNr(i, j)) C-ij(kl) f(x(kl) (t - tau))x(ij) + L-ij(t) the global attractivity of SICNNs is also obtained.
