We study the possibility of a superconducting phase in a system whose normal state is characterized by the presence of a pseudogap in the energy spectrum at temperatures below a characteristic value T*. By rewriting the Gorkov equations we developed a phenomenological model in order to calculate the effects of the pseudogap on superconducting state properties such as the superconducting gap at T = 0, Delta(0), the superconducting critical temperature, T,, and the R = 2Delta(0)/T-c ratio.
