Dimerization of indole derivatives with hypervalent iodines(III):: a new entry for the concise total synthesis of rac- and meso-chimonanthines

Hypervalent iodine(III)-induced dimerization of indole derivatives, mitragynine, tetrahydrocarbazole, and N-b-carbomethoxytryptamine, was investigated.
