The reactions of indium with tricarbonylcyclopentadienyl-molybdenum(II) and -tungsten(II) chlorides in donor solvents result in formation of compounds containing Mo-In and W-In bonds. The formal-kinetic features of the metal oxidation with eta(5)-C5H5Mo(CO)(3)Cl in dimethylformamide were studied.
