Heat capacities and enthalpy increments between the temperatures T = 5 K and 440 K were measured by adiabatic calorimetry for naphthalene. The triple-point temperature, enthalpy of fusion, heat capacities, and derived thermodynamic functions are reported for the solid and liquid phases. Results are compared with selected literature values. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
