HRP was found with a direct electrochemistry at carbon nanotube microelectrode. The adsorbing HRP could transfer electron directly at CNT compared with common carbon electrode material. It was calculated that the transfer coefficient alpha was 0.57, and heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant was 2.48 +/- 0.03 s(-1). It was found that the adsorbing HRP still keeps its catalytic activity to H2O2. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
