This work deals with the obtention of a new family of bimetallic [(RR2)-R-1 (RRN)-R-3-N-4][MnCr(C2O4)(3)] oxalate bridged 2D networks templated by chiral ammonium cations of the type [(RRRRN)-R-1-R-2-R-3-N-4](+), in which R stands for n-alkyl groups from methyl to dodecyl.
