In this paper, we afford some sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of multiple positive solutions for the nonlinear m-point boundary value problem for the one-dimensional p-Laplacian (phi(p)(u'))' + a(t) f(t, u) = 0, t is an element of (0, 1), u(0) = 0, u(1) = Sigma(i=1)(m-2) a(i)u(xi(i)).
