A new synthetic approach to mycobacterial cell wall α-(1 →5)-D-arabinofuranosyl C-oligosaccharides

Three designed arabinofuranose building blocks allowed the diastereoselective synthesis of a C-disaccharide and a C-trisaccharide by Wittig olefination.
