The effects of stannate doping on the phase transition behaviors of antiferroelectric lead zirconate titanate were examined. It was shown that addition of Sn causes an increase in the switching electric fields and a decrease in the electric hysteresis. On the other hand, as Sn/Zr ratio increased both antiferroelectric orthorhombic to tetragonal phase and subsequent antiferroelectric to paraelectric phase transition temperatures decreased, and the maximum dielectric peak that related with antiferroelectric to paraelectric transition was diffused.
