A novel C27N3-type Lycopodium alkaloid consisting of a fastigiatine-type skeleton (C16N2) and a quinolizidine moiety (C11N), himeradine A (1), has been isolated from the club moss Lycopodium chinense, and the structure and relative stereochemistry were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
