Molecules of the tetrahydroxyflavone luteolin, C15H10O6, are essentially planar and contain an intramolecular hydrogen bond. The crystal structure is stabilized by O - H...O, C-H ...O and C - H...pi interactions, and contains disordered water molecules, probably corresponding to a hemihydrate.
