Bone metastases in patients with prostate cancer are common. Prostate cancer patients also have a relatively long survival. Palliative radiation can provide effective symptom control in many clinical settings. This article focuses on the management of bone pain and its complications (pathological fractures and spinal cord compression) with radiation treatment.
