[1] Fluxes of Be-7 and Pb-210 were continuously monitored at two sites in northern Taiwan during 1996 - 2001. The time series of both nuclides show seasonality and dependence on precipitation, annual monsoon cycle and episodic events ( typhoons and Asian dust storms). Besides, anomalously high Be-7 and Pb-210 fluxes occurred in 1998, which are most likely caused by enhanced atmospheric convection in the north Pacific resulting from significantly increased SST in the western Pacific warm pool.
